The Total Back allows the optimum exercise
intensity regardless of the patient's level of conditioning or
severity. Unique pelvic stabilization allows isolation of lumbar
extensors in any range of motion. The Total Back provides a
specific lumbar extension workout at a fraction of the cost of
computerized machines!

It promotes strength, flexibility and
coordination through controlled functional exercise. Adjusting the
table angle allows either mild exercise in a pain free range, or
intense conditioning. Any level of intensity is easy to achieve!
The Total Back is the only exercise device to allow "side sit-ups"
in a manner that requires co-contraction of the spinal
stabilizers. This forces the back to work in a functional, not
artificial, way.

The angle of recline reduces the load on
the spine by 20% to 30% and allows for spinal positions in
flexion, extension or side lying through a range of 110 degrees.
"Side sit-ups" are great for the obliques, transversus abdominus,
multifundus, quadratus lumborum and erector spinae muscles. |
