Regular physical activity, pure water, wholesome and proper uncontaminated nutrition reduces the risk of developing or dying from some of the leading causes of illness and death in the United States. Proper regular physical activity combined with pure food and water reduces the risk of developing colon cancer; they help flush out impurities, and lessen cravings and addictions. They will reduce feelings of depression, anxiety and promotes psychological well being. They help control weight, and help build and maintain healthy bones, muscles, and joints. They help older adults become stronger and better able to move about without falling. They reduce the risk of developing diabetes and high blood pressure.

Exercise helps and proper nutrition reduce blood pressure in people who already have high blood pressure. They reduce the risk of dying prematurely and dying from heart disease. The right amount of sunshine and regular outdoor activities are essential ingredients for health and well-being.

Riding bikes can be healthy fun, unless we are riding in city traffic. If we breathe in excessive pollutants, it is possible that we are doing more damage than good. It can result in extensive irreversible damage to the immune system. Furthermore, riding a bike in city traffic is extremely dangerous. Jogging can be a healthy exercise when done properly. Many people have discovered that running on hard city streets causes back, leg, and ankle injuries because of the pounding of their joints. Furthermore, if you jog, walk, or play in or near city traffic you are unnecessarily breathing in poisonous fumes.

When muscles are overused we get microscopic muscle tears from the repeated stress. Add a residue of lactic acid, carbon dioxide, acid rain, low lactate threshold, and skipping post exercise activities that flush out lactic acid and carbon dioxide and these acids burn holes in the microscopic muscle tears.  The body then uses tissue calcium to patch the holes; the scar tissue calcifies and/or becomes fibrotic.

A low lactate threshold means we produce lactate at low exercise intensity. If our lactate threshold (LT) is reached at low exercise intensity, it often means that we do not have adequate concentrations of the enzymes necessary to oxidize pyruvate at high rates. This will cause a build up of lactic acid in the muscle tissue, which contributes to calcified and fibrotic muscles. (Pyruvate is a product created in the body during the metabolism of carbohydrates and protein.)

Calcified and fibrotic muscles are the consequence of repeated overuse, microscopic muscle tears, scarring, collagen crosslinking, high levels of lactate acid, acidic water; which is increased markedly by mineral deficiencies, mineral imbalances and mineral antagonists; pH imbalance and enzyme deficiency.

Because calcified and fibrotic muscle fibers feel like pieces of bone, people commonly mistake them for arthritis. Furthermore, they sometimes hurt when they are touched or pressed, especially if aggravated by inefficient muscle function.

We need to drink pristine water, take proper nutrients, balanced plant based minerals, and keep our muscles stretched out; it is essential to do post exercise activities and manipulations that flush out lactic acid and carbon dioxide so we do not trigger calcification.

Why is it primarily the arteries around the heart that get clogged and not the other veins and capillaries? Because wherever there is a muscle producing energy there’s always a by-product of lactic acid or waste.  Any kind of acid can burn; lactic acid burns holes in the arteries and the body uses cholesterol and calcium to patch those holes. Because heart is a muscle that continually produces lactic Acid. The more acidic your blood is the more clogged your arteries are.

This is another reason why Essential Fatty Acids are so important to heart health. They cut the production of lactic acid.

Fun, exercise, stretching, sunshine, fresh air, pristine water, and natural foods are some important things for that great state of being. Positive awareness, followed by a plan of action, is the idea.

An ideal exercise platform.

The new WBV platform is ideal to enhance Pilates, Tai Chi, Yoga and all types of stretching, freebody exercises and weight training.

The gentle vibrations increase circulation to provide super-fast warm-ups and improved flexibility. Just standing on it will make you sweat.

Vibrating while you’re lifting weights magnifies the conditioning effects to promote faster muscle growth.

The Whole Body Vibration Platform is the perfect size, shape and height to perform most barbell and dumbbell exercises; it’s high enough off the floor to allow a full range of motion on bench-presses, yet low enough to step off safely if balance is lost during standing exercises.

Vibrating a few minutes a day does more than build muscle. It releases healing hormones like HGH, and stress-relieving hormones like serotonin, the "happiness hormone."

Exercise doesn’t get any easier than this. Just standing on a WBV Platform ten minutes a day provides about the same strength gains as a moderate weightlifting program. It works for all ages.

In one study of nursing home volunteers conducted by the University of Liege, Belgium, six weeks of WBV therapy showed:

·         • 143% improvement in physical function.

·         •   41% improvement in pain.

·         •   60% increase in vitality.

·         •   23% improvement in general health.

·         •   57% improvement in walking.

·         •   77% improvement in balance.

·         •   39% decrease in time to get up and go.

The Whole Body Vibration (WBV) Platform won’t cure anything but it does provide relief from many types of muscle and joint pains, cramps, etc. For some, it works better than drugs. It does have these side effects*

1.     Increased flexibility.

2.     Improved mobility.

3.     Increased circulation.

4.     Increased strength.

5.     Improved balance.

6.     Elevated mood.

7.     Increased vitality.

The Journal of Sports Sciences reports that inducing a low frequency vibration to weightlifting exercises greatly increases their effectiveness.

Vibration was superimposed to weightlifting exercises for the study. After a three week period the vibration group tested a 50% increase in strength while the group doing identical exercises without vibration increased only 16% (a typical gain).

You may have heard about or even used one of the new WBV machines. NFL, NBA and professional baseball teams swear by them. So do Olympic trainers.
